I recently discovered that my Microsoft account was hacked. I noticed something was off when services like Microsoft Family Safety prompted me to sign in again. When I tried to log in using Windows Hello, I was shocked to find my password was incorrect and an unfamiliar email was displayed instead. I attempted the Microsoft account recovery form twice, but neither attempt worked, which is pretty disheartening since I've had this account for over seven years. If there's any way to retrieve it, I would truly appreciate your help. Also, my Windows PC is still logged into my account, which I don't know if it will help in recovering it.

Unfortunately, there's not much anyone here can do. Your best course of action is to keep trying the Microsoft account recovery options. If you get no luck there, you might have to create a new account. It's a pain, but it happens to a lot of people. Just remember to keep trying the recovery forms. Good luck!
That's frustrating! It's good to hear you reached out to Microsoft through live chat. Sometimes getting a direct response can lead to better results. Definitely keep us posted on what happens with your account recovery!

Should I just keep sending Microsoft account recovery forms?
