Help! My Monitor Says ‘HDMI 2 No Signal’ When I Turn on My PC

I'm facing a frustrating issue with my monitor displaying a 'HDMI 2 No Signal' message as soon as I power on my computer. I've tried reconnecting everything multiple times and even switched between two different HDMI cables. It was working fine yesterday! Today, I'm using my PS5 with the monitor, but after an hour of it being turned off, my PC won't connect to the monitor. I even swapped the HDMI cable that was working with the PS5, but no luck there either.

It's puzzling because even when I plug the HDMI cable into the first port, I still get the no signal message for the second one. I really need to get access to my PC, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried using the other HDMI port on the back of your monitor? It might just be a simple port issue. Sometimes, one port can fail while the other works perfectly fine. Also, make sure you're selecting the right input on your monitor if it has that option.

Yeah, I tried that, but I still get the same no signal message.

Are you sure your monitor can automatically switch inputs? It might be that your PC is plugged into HDMI 2 and getting that no signal error. Also, when you power on your PC, try pressing Windows + P to switch display modes, but I know you can't access that since the monitor isn't working at all. Maybe check your monitor settings directly for input selection.

I'm not too savvy with this stuff, so I'm not exactly sure what auto-switching is. My PC only has one HDMI port and my monitor has two. Normally, I use a display cable, but today since that wasn't working, I popped the HDMI from my PS5 into my PC. Still no signal.
