I've recently updated my graphics drivers, but now I'm having major issues with my monitors. At first, neither screen was working, but when I disconnected my second monitor, my primary one sprang to life, albeit at a lower resolution of 1920x1080 instead of my usual 1720x1080. After I adjusted the resolution back in control panel, both monitors stopped functioning altogether. I'm stuck and can't seem to fix this—what are my options?

First things first, try disconnecting all but the main monitor and then reboot your computer. Press Win+D to minimize everything, hit R, then Enter to restart. If your BIOS screen shows up, that means your GPU is likely fine and the issue is with the drivers. After booting, try entering safe mode to completely uninstall the drivers with a tool like DDU. Then, reboot and reinstall the latest stable driver. This should help restore functionality!

Thanks for the tip! I did try that, and now my monitors are working with the new drivers. It’s just a bit strange because my main monitor needs to be connected via HDMI while my second one requires DisplayPort. Why is it so complicated?
