I was playing Deep Rock Galactic and suddenly my mouse started behaving weirdly—the x and y axes became inverted. I tried using an old mouse I had, and it works fine, but this specific one seems to have the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you considered that it might be the mouse's software? If it’s a gaming mouse, like Steelseries or Razer, they often have specific drivers and settings that could be causing this issue. It might help to reinstall that software. By the way, what mouse do you have?
Just to clarify, is it only your mouse that’s acting up, or is your screen also affected? It’s important to know, since that could change the fix you need!

It's only the mouse that’s inverted; the screen and touchpad are both fine!
I’m using an HP mouse, KM300F. It’s pretty old, so I’m not sure if there’s any software for it.
