Help! My MSI Raider GE78 13V Won’t Boot and Has a Blinking Light Code

I'm in a bit of a tough spot with my MSI Raider GE78 13V laptop. It froze on me out of nowhere while I was using it, and now it refuses to boot up. When I try to power it on, the fans kick in, but there's no display or MSI logo—just this frustrating pattern of 10 white blinks followed by an amber blink, repeating like a bad movie.

I've tried everything I could think of: taking it apart, disconnecting the battery, reseating the RAM and SSD, even checking the motherboard for any visible issues. Yet, I'm still stuck with the same blinking lights. I'm starting to think it might be a motherboard issue, but I need to know if this pattern indicates a specific problem and if there's anything else I can try before I consider expensive repairs or replacements. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried booting it up with just the charger plugged in and the battery removed? Sometimes that helps with power issues and can reset things a bit. Give it a go if you haven't already!

Yes, I tried that, but it didn’t make a difference.

It sounds like you're in a tough situation. The 10 white blinks followed by an amber blink often indicates a motherboard failure, but it can vary by model. Have you checked if there's any documentation online that explains what those lights mean for your specific model? Sometimes, the manufacturer provides a code breakdown. You might want to consider that before diving into costly repairs.
