I recently started working on a new build and bought a B850 Gaming WiFi 6E motherboard. However, I didn't realize how high the PCIe slot is, and now I'm stuck. It seems like my options are to get a new motherboard with a lower PCIe slot or to mount the GPU vertically. Can anyone recommend a good motherboard for my setup? My specs include a 7800X3D CPU and a 9070XT GPU, and I'm using a Lian Li O11 Dynamic V2 case. Here's a picture of how the build looks: [link](https://imgur.com/a/yZJKcsF).

That’s a bummer! It’s weird that the case doesn’t allow fitting there. Changing the motherboard or getting a different case seems necessary. I suggest checking out motherboards with a PCIe slot that's lower to fit under that standoff.
It sounds like you’re dealing with a tight fit there! If you’re using the O11 case, it's noted that the PCIe slot at the top can be an issue. You might want to look into either changing your motherboard for one with a lower PCIe slot or investing in a vertical GPU riser for mounting. Definitely consider those options!
Yeah, I'd go with the vertical riser if you want to keep this motherboard. It opens up more options without the hassle of changing cases or motherboards.

Good idea on looking for that standoff! I found that ASUS ROG Strix board; it looks like it could be a solid fit for your build.
