I've been having some serious issues with my boyfriend's new custom PC from mifcon. After setting it up and getting everything downloaded, it was working fine initially. But the second time he turned it on, it started searching for updates, rebooted, and then everything went downhill from there. Now, when we try to power it on, it's really laggy, and the screen keeps flashing black, showing the mouse for a moment before going back to a blue screen. We've tried troubleshooting, triggering the automatic repair, running SFC/scannow, and tweaking some BIOS settings, but nothing seems to help. We think the monitor is fine since it works with other devices. What should we do? Could it be a hardware issue, or is there something more we can try with software?

There could be several causes here. Since this is a prebuilt machine, it’s important to consider the exact specs. You might want to try reinstalling the graphics drivers if you can get into Windows long enough. Also, double-check your BIOS settings and see if you can update them. If all else fails, you may need to consider replacing the SSD since that's where Windows is installed. A full reinstall might be necessary if things don’t improve either way.
It sounds like you've been through a lot with that PC! Since it's new and you're experiencing these issues, definitely check your warranty and contact the supplier for support first. They might be able to offer some troubleshooting steps or replace any faulty components.
Is there anything we can troubleshoot ourselves before contacting them?
That's helpful, but the problem is we can't even log in to check anything like crash logs. Windows wasn’t pre-installed, so we’re kind of stuck right now.
