Help! My New GPU Needs an 8-Pin Cable that My PSU Doesn’t Have!

I just got my RTX 3060 GPU, but I'm in a bit of a bind because my Corsair CV750 power supply doesn't come with the right 8-pin cable. I thought all 8-pin GPU connectors were the same, as this is my third GPU. Now, I'm unsure what to do or how to find the right cable. Any advice?

It sounds like you're confusing the PCIe cables with the CPU power cables. Make sure you're definitely looking for the PCIe cables! All PCIe cables should have the same type of connector, but don't connect a cable from a different PSU to your GPU; they can be different inside and may not work right.

I think the layout on the new GPU can be the tricky part, but it should still work with the right PCIe connector.
