Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my storage by getting two 1 TB NVMe SSDs to replace my single 240 GB SATA SSD where I've been running Pop!OS. I physically installed the new drives without any issues and formatted them since I bought them second-hand. I tried to use Clonezilla to clone my old SSD to one of the new NVMe drives, but now when I boot from it, I'm thrown into emergency mode with a message about "FAT-fs (nvme0n1p2): bogus number of reserved sectors." Booting from the old SSD works just fine, so I'm wondering if I should reformat the new SSD and try cloning again, or if there's a simpler fix. Any advice?

Depending on how you executed the cloning, you might need to adjust partition sizes. If the filesystem is mounted, running fsck can help. Also, make sure to check your fstab file, because the UUIDs changed with the new drives. The OS needs to know where everything is located on the new SSD.
It sounds like the cloning didn't go smoothly. I suggest erasing the new SSD and giving it another shot. Alternatively, why not do a fresh install on the new drive and just transfer your important files over? You could keep the old SSD as your main boot drive and use the new one for storage instead.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of Clonezilla – I think it can get pretty complicated. If you're looking to try cloning again, you might want to consider using a different tool like FoxClone. Just remember, if the old SSD is still connected, it'll cause confusion with UUIDs since they match the clone. If you've already disconnected it and can't boot from the clone, you might need to redo the process.
