Help! My New PC Build Won’t Boot and Is Stuck on an Orange Light

I recently upgraded my PC with a new ASUS B650 motherboard and a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, but I'm facing a problem. When I try to power it on, an orange light comes on and the system won't boot. I've looked through numerous posts and tried almost everything I could think of. I've swapped the RAM around and tried starting with just one stick, ensured the CPU is seated properly, made sure all the connections are secure, and verified that the GPU is connected correctly. All power lights and fans, including the GPU and AIO cooler, are working fine. I also followed the manual's instructions to update the BIOS using a flash drive before attempting to power it on. I'm out of ideas—any advice would really help!

I had a similar setup issue with a B650 motherboard and a 7900X. Turned out my 850W PSU was either not providing enough power or was faulty. Once I replaced it, I also noticed my cooler wasn’t cooling the CPU enough, which caused overheating. After swapping out both the PSU and the cooler, everything booted up fine! Definitely check your power supply.

What does that orange light indicate according to your motherboard manual? Have you tried removing the CPU to check for bent pins? Also, could you share the exact model of your motherboard and RAM? It could also help to boot using the motherboard's video outputs without the GPU to rule out any GPU issues.

The light is related to the DRAM. I've tried the RAM in all different slots and checked the CPU and socket for damage. I've got XLR8 PNY DDR5 RAM and an ASUS ROG Strix B650-A. My GPU is a 4070, which was working perfectly before, so I'm confident it's not the issue.
