Hi everyone! I just finished assembling my first PC last night, but I'm having trouble getting it to power on. The RGB light on the motherboard is lit up, but nothing else happens when I hit the power button. Can anyone offer some advice on what might be wrong or how I can troubleshoot this?

Make sure to reseat all your components, starting with the ones that are easiest to access first. Double-check that everything is installed properly before moving on to anything more complex.

Did you connect the power switch cable from the case to the correct header on the motherboard? If you're unsure, you can unplug all the case power switch cables and try jumping pins 3 and 4 on the motherboard with a screwdriver. This can help see if the CPU fan starts spinning or if you get some kind of response.

Another option is to rebuild your PC outside of the case on a non-conductive surface, like wood. This can help eliminate any short-circuiting from the case itself.

Do any of the fans spin at all? Also, verify that your display cable is connected to the graphics card, not just the motherboard. What are the main specs of your build?

No fans are spinning because the PC won't turn on at all. Only the RGB light on the back of the motherboard lights up. I'm using a B560M board with an i7 11700F CPU, 9060 XT, and 16GB of RAM.
