I recently purchased a new computer (Starforge Systems Horizon III) and have been experiencing a frustrating issue. While it connects to my WiFi network, it doesn't actually provide any usable internet connection. I've only installed software that I had on my previous computer, which never had this issue. I took a look inside the computer but didn't want to touch anything for fear of causing more problems. Interestingly, it connects perfectly to mobile hotspots, but I haven't tested it on any other WiFi networks. This problem started just last week, even though it was working fine before. Can anyone help me understand what's going on and how to fix it?

You might want to try some network reset commands to see if that resolves the problem. Here’s what to do:
1. Click the Start button and type 'cmd'.
2. Right-click on Command Prompt and select 'Run as administrator'.
3. Once the Command Prompt is open, type these commands, pressing Enter after each:
- ipconfig /flushdns
- ipconfig /release
- ipconfig /renew
- netsh winsock reset
- netsh int ip reset
4. Restart your computer afterward.
If that doesn't work, you could also reset your router and modem by unplugging them for about 3 minutes before plugging them back in. Factory resetting your router could be a last resort if nothing else helps!

I get that it's frustrating, but not all network issues are the same. Simplified troubleshooting steps don't always work for every situation. Maybe there's something specific to your setup that's causing the trouble?
