I recently got a new PC, and I'm experiencing some frustrating problems. After running it for about 30 minutes, the sound turns staticky, and the video stutters as if it's in slow motion. When I move my mouse, there's a noticeable delay of about half a second. The other day, while I was watching YouTube, the screen went black twice, and then just yesterday, the monitors completely turned off while the PC stayed on. I usually have to turn it off to get it working again. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing these issues? My specs are an AMD Ryzen 7 7700x, a 4070 super, and 32 GB of RAM.

I think you're on the right track with the GPU! I noticed similar spikes in my task manager while I was lagging too. I would recommend switching slots if possible, but it can be tricky if there's no latch on the second PCIe slot. Keep an eye on it, and if restarting temporarily fixes the problem, that’s a good clue!
It sounds like a potential issue with your graphics card. Are you comfortable checking if it's seated properly in the slot? Also, ensure that the power connector is securely plugged in and check for any damage. If your motherboard has a second PCIe slot, it might be worth testing the graphics card there to see if the issue lies with the slot itself.
