Help! My New PC Won’t Boot Up

Hey everyone, I'm brand new to building PCs and I'm having a bit of a rough time. My new build isn't booting at all, and I'm not really sure what to check. I snapped some photos which you can find [here](https://imgur.com/a/xAipndA). Funny enough, I'm using an old TV as a monitor since my other options are pretty limited. Here's what I've got in my build: AMD Ryzen 5 3500X with the stock cooler, Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 5500XT GPU, Crucial P3 1TB SSD, NZXT H5 Flow case, Corsair CX650M PSU, and PNY 16GB RAM. Any ideas on why it's not working?

Did you remember to install the I/O shield before putting in the motherboard? It can prevent the system from booting if it's missing.

Honestly, I don't have one. I just went for it without thinking about it!

Hey, is the power supply switch on? That can be easy to overlook when you’re building.

Yep, it’s definitely switched on.

Make sure the PSU plug is seated all the way. That can sometimes cause boot issues if it's loose.

Is this a used motherboard? Sometimes they can have hidden issues that might cause problems right away.

It might be used, seems likely.

It sounds like you might want to check the 24-pin connector to make sure it's plugged in securely. Also, double-check that all your connections to the power supply and motherboard are seated properly. Sometimes, the RAM can be finicky if it's not in the right slots—try using A2 and B2. Don't forget to check that the front panel connectors are in the right place too!

I checked all that and it's still not booting at all.
