I just finished building my first PC, and everything seems to be running fine, but I'm having a major issue with connectivity. I've tried both Ethernet and WiFi, and neither is working. When I installed Windows 11, I initially did it without an internet connection and then attempted to install the necessary drivers, but that didn't help. I even tried reinstalling Windows and installing the drivers during setup, but no luck. Currently, the Ethernet connection shows as not connected despite being properly wired to the motherboard and the wall jack. Also, the WiFi options aren't appearing at all, even though I've attached the antenna to the motherboard. I'm really stuck here and would appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thanks!

Have you checked if the wall jack is properly connected? Sometimes the issue isn't on your end but rather how the jack is set up to the router. Also, you might want to read up on using Command Prompt to bypass needing an internet connection during installation if you haven't already. Here’s a link that could help with that.
I figured it out! I was downloading the wrong driver version, and I suspect the wall jack might not be connected properly after all. Thanks for the help!
You should go straight to the motherboard manufacturer's website and download the LAN/WiFi drivers from there. I ran into a similar issue once, and downloading them onto a flash drive and installing from that fixed the problem for me.
I actually did that, but nothing changed after installing the drivers.
Check out this link for the specific drivers I used. It helped me when I had a similar problem!
I tried that method, but even once I was fully in Windows and tried updating the drivers via a flash drive, there was still no change. The wall jack looks good, with cables going into the router, so I think the connection is fine.
