I've had a serious situation with my Android phone. It was hacked, and since then, I've lost access to all of my accounts. It seems like everything from my Google accounts to social media and even my bank accounts has been messed with, either by erasing or changing my information. My recovery methods were altered, and importantly, all my passkeys are gone. This has been a nightmare for almost a week now. I can't even make calls or receive texts! I've got two IMEIs, and while my provider tried to fix it by removing one, it didn't work. I managed to get a new phone yesterday—paid in cash and made sure not to use any of my info or connect old accounts. I switched providers, got a new SIM card, and a brand new number. Less than 24 hours later, I'm facing the same issues all over again! My AVG account was messed with, my files accessed, apps unlocked, and notifications turned off. Now, an Admin seems to have control over my phone. AT&T claims it's a phone issue, but Walmart says it's an AT&T problem. I'm at my wit's end here! I even tried factory resetting the device. It appears my calls and messages are being forwarded elsewhere, and I've got multiple duplicate apps on my phone. Any advice on how to deal with this?

It's crucial to keep your phone’s software up to date and change any sensitive information immediately. If you're still facing issues, try looking for an IT professional who can assist in person. They might be able to find hidden backdoors or vulnerabilities that you can't detect yourself.
Sounds like a chaotic situation! First off, make sure your new phone is totally reset and not connected to any old accounts. If your AVG was tampered with, it’s worth trying a different antivirus app. Also, check for any unusual devices connected to your network—it's possible someone is still using your data!
Definitely sounds sketchy! Have you considered using a different internet connection, like your mobile data or a friend’s WiFi, just to see if the issues persist?
Did you completely wipe your old phone before getting the new one? Sometimes, the security issues can carry over if you're still on the same network or if you’ve restored anything. Also, when you connected to Walmart's WiFi, that might have opened up opportunities for further hacking. Make sure you're only downloading apps from the Play Store and avoid any sideloading until you're sure you're secure. If you're in a hotel, use a VPN when connecting to the internet, and definitely check your connections carefully!
That’s a great point! I’d also recommend making sure to reset your WiFi router and change all passwords when you get a chance. It’s best to keep your connection secure.
I second that! Having an expert take a look could really help. They could also guide you on securing your accounts further to prevent this from happening again.
