I've just set up my gaming PC, and I'm experiencing a huge issue with noise. My fans are ridiculously loud, sounding like they're running at full throttle, even when I'm not playing any demanding games. The PS5 runs more quietly, but my setup is just crazy loud, and I can't figure out why. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this? What could be causing all this racket?

You might want to check the fan settings in your BIOS or any fan control software. Try adjusting the settings to run the fans at a lower speed or set the curve so they ramp up only as the temperatures increase. This could help with the noise while keeping things cool!
I’m facing other issues too—got blue screens with errors like Memory Management and nfts.sys. This has been so frustrating! I’m actually considering just sending my PC back and getting a laptop instead. What do you all think?
Hey, don’t rush into a decision. Maybe try sorting through those blue screen error messages first, sometimes it’s just drivers that need adjusting.
Sounds like it might be the GPU culprit. If you have experience with it, consider changing the thermal paste; I had similar issues with my RX 5700 XT and it was super loud until I took care of that!
Yeah, I get that! My new 4070 was quieter than my previous card, so it might help to look into it if you’re upgrading.
If your setup didn’t come with software, just hang tight—I'm installing Armory Crate and Fan Control to see if that helps with managing the noise.
