I recently installed a 980 Pro 2TB SSD, but it's currently stuck in read-only mode. I already have a 1TB version of the same SSD that works fine, so I'm not sure what's wrong with this new one. I've tried using the command prompt to disable read-only mode, but that didn't help. Should I check my BIOS settings, reseat the SSD, or consider getting a replacement?

Are you attempting to partition the drive through Windows or using a different boot environment? That might affect the results.
It sounds like you might just need to get it replaced, especially if it’s consistently stuck in read-only mode.
