Hey everyone! I've been having some major issues with my NVME SSD lately. After two years of smooth performance, it started acting up about a week ago. It randomly freezes, shows 100% usage even when I'm not doing anything, and disappears completely from my system at times. I've noticed it jump in and out of the Task Manager in real time. Usually, it works fine again but now it's completely gone and no amount of reboots is fixing it—it's not even showing up in the BIOS anymore.
I checked it with CDI, and it reported 100% health. I'm using Windows 10 version 19045 (22H2), and my motherboard is an X470 Ultra Gaming. The SSD in question is a Lexar NM620 2TB that I've had for about 25 months, installed in the second NVME slot. The Event Viewer isn't showing anything unusual either. What should I do?

It sounds like your SSD might be failing. Have you tried running a SMART data report using the Spec-ify tool? It can give you some insights on the health of your SSD, though NVME drives don't usually provide extensive data. Here's the link to check it out: rtech.support/factoids/specify.
I ran the report and noticed something interesting. It shows a "Generic STORAGE DEVICE USB Device" which is just a USB hub—it's been popping up as my Z: drive but it only works with actual storage connected to it. Also, I’ve figured out that cutting the power either by holding down the power button or turning off the PSU does restore my NVME drive, at least temporarily.
