Help! My Old MacBook Won’t Connect to Wi-Fi

Hey everyone! I've got a 15-inch Intel MacBook from 2013 that's suddenly stopped showing any available Wi-Fi connections. I've tried restarting it and resetting the NVRAM, but nothing seems to work. I attempted to use the Wi-Fi diagnostics tool, but it won't even start. I was thinking about removing the Wi-Fi connection from the settings and adding it back, but now the connection type isn't available at all. Do you think the network card might be broken? Any suggestions?

Have you tried starting up from macOS Recovery and seeing if you can connect to a Wi-Fi network from there? If your Mac still can't find any networks in Recovery, it's likely that the system can’t connect at all. Do you happen to have an Ethernet adapter for your Mac? That might be a quick fix!

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, I can't connect to Wi-Fi in macOS Recovery either, and I don’t have an Ethernet adapter. Maybe I should just look into getting a new network card since it seems easy to swap out based on what I've seen on iFixit.
