Help! My PC Can’t Connect to the Internet

I've been dealing with a frustrating issue where my PC suddenly can't connect to the Internet. It started out of nowhere—websites, apps, and anything else needing an internet connection just stopped working. I first thought the problem was my Ethernet cable, so I replaced it, but that didn't fix the issue. I even installed a Wi-Fi card, and although Windows says I'm connected, I still can't access the web.

I've confirmed the router isn't the problem because when I connected the same Ethernet cable to another PC, it worked fine. I've tried a bunch of different troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling Windows, performing a network reset, using commands like 'netsh winsock reset' and 'ipconfig /flushdns', manually setting DNS servers (1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8), uninstalling my antivirus software, testing both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections, checking the router settings, and even contacting Windows support!

My motherboard is a Gigabyte A520M DS3H V2. If anyone has any insight into what might be wrong and how I can fix it, I'd really appreciate the help!

Even though you believe the router is fine, have you tried power cycling it? It might help clear any temporary issues. Also, try pinging your router and the other working PC. If you can't ping the other PC, that could indicate a routing issue on your end. You might want to check your current IP configuration as well to see if your PC is picking up an IP address correctly. If you're really stuck, using a Linux live USB to see if that connects could be a great troubleshooting step.

Let's take this step by step. Open PowerShell or CMD and type `ping google.com`, `ping 8.8.8.8`, and `ping `. Let me know which ones work and which don’t. This will help narrow down the problem.
