Help! My PC Can’t Find Any Devices After Restarting

I turned on my PC today, and it immediately prompted me to restart due to a problem. Now, I see a message that reads:

'Asmedia ASM1064/116X SATA Controller Ver 0.96 AHCI MODE Copyright (C) Asmedia Technologies, Inc. All Rights Reserved. S.M.A.R.T Supported. Using PCIE Gen 3 x1 Firmware version: 201105_00_22_00 Can't find any device.'

This message appears for about 5 seconds before it vanishes, leaving me with a black screen and a text cursor. Pressing any keys doesn't help. I've tried restarting and also turning the PC off and on, but nothing seems to work. Can someone assist me with this?

It sounds like your m.2 drive, which likely has your operating system, isn’t being detected. This could be due to a drive failure or an issue with the motherboard. Try checking for a BIOS update or consider resetting your BIOS settings. That might just do the trick!

You might want to check the physical connections first. If they’re loose, that could be the problem. Also, try switching out the SATA cable, using a different SATA port on your motherboard, and testing a different SATA power cable from your power supply. If those steps don't work, you might need to get a new SSD and reinstall your operating system.
