I've got a desktop setup with a 13th Gen i9-13900k, 64 GB of RAM, a 64-bit processor, and I'm running Windows 11 Pro 24H2 alongside an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090. Despite reinstalling Windows 11 multiple times, I'm still running into issues with my PC freezing and crashing. I'm getting two error codes: Watch Dog Violation and Cannot Access Boot Device. Sometimes, my PC won't even post. When the crashes happen, I also see artifacting—little black squares on the screen. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I had a similar issue a while back, and it turned out to be a firmware problem with the 13th and 14th Gen Intel CPUs. My motherboard needed an update that I overlooked. The chip was overheating and eventually became faulty. I took it back to the retailer, and they replaced it for me. Make sure to check if your motherboard BIOS is up to date by visiting the manufacturer's website.

I updated the BIOS from version 6 to 7. Fingers crossed this does the trick!
