Help! My PC Keeps Losing Power and FPS

I've been having some serious issues with my PC since I had a Trojan infection back in 2022. It seems like ever since then, I can't make any system updates because it won't load properly. Lately, my PC keeps losing power and isn't able to maintain stable FPS. For instance, when I'm playing Fortnite, I start with around 120 FPS in the lobby, but as soon as I move my mouse even a little, it drops to about 30 FPS. I've tried optimizing a ton of settings, but things seem to be getting worse. I'm wondering if not updating my PC since 2022 could be the problem, or if my specs are just not good enough. Any advice on how I can fix this so I can play Battle Royale normally again?

First off, we need to know your PC specs to help you better. Are you using a standard hard drive or an SSD? Also, what graphics card do you have? Your performance could depend a lot on that.

I think I have an SSD. It's a Samsung SSD 970 Evo 1TB. My CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, I use a Radeon RX 570 GPU, and I have 16GB of RAM.
