I just built my first PC and am trying to install Windows 10. I created a bootable USB drive with the Windows 10 image, but when I try to download it, my PC shuts down at around 50%. I'm not sure what's going wrong. My specs are an R5 3600 CPU, 256 GB SATA SSD, RX 570 GPU, 650W 80+ Gold PSU, and 16 GB RAM. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Make sure that your PC isn't overheating while you're trying to install. Check the temperatures in your BIOS. Also, have you considered re-seating your RAM? Sometimes, issues like this can pop up if there's a loose connection.
To add on to what others said, have you checked if the USB has enough space for the Windows install? And if you downloaded an ISO, be sure to extract the files correctly before using it. That can also lead to issues.
