I recently upgraded my RAM and CPU, but now my PC refuses to boot at all. The power indicator lights are on and the fans are spinning, but it doesn't get past the BIOS screen. I've tried reverting back to my old RAM and using just one stick, but it hasn't helped. I'm looking for any suggestions or ideas on what might be wrong.

First, could you let us know what your old and new CPUs are, as well as what motherboard you're using? It’s important to check if you needed to update the BIOS before swapping the CPU, as this can cause boot issues if the new CPU isn't supported without an update. Just a thought!
Another thing you can try is resetting your BIOS. Look up the method for your motherboard model; this can sometimes resolve boot issues after hardware changes. Just ensure you follow the steps carefully!
My old CPU is a Ryzen 3 2300X and the new one is a Ryzen 5 5500. The motherboard is an Asrock A320M. I didn’t think I needed to update the BIOS, though.
