Hey everyone! I recently added an extra 16GB of DDR4 RAM (2x8GB) to my system, which is a different brand and speed from my existing RAM. I'm pretty sure that shouldn't cause issues, but now my PC won't boot into Windows. I've tried different configurations with the RAM sticks, reset the CMOS, and I've also tested booting with just the old RAM setup, but nothing seems to work. I can access the BIOS, and I've played around with the XMP and frequency settings, but I can only get to either the BIOS or to the Windows loading screen, where it turns black. My motherboard is an ASUS ROG Strix B360-F Gaming, and my RAM is a mix of Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3000 and G.Skill Aegis DDR4-3200. Any ideas?

Just a heads up, mixing RAM from different brands and speeds can sometimes cause problems. I suggest you try removing all 4 sticks, and then clear the CMOS by unplugging the PSU and taking out the CMOS battery for about a minute. After that, power it back on without messing around with the XMP settings and see if that helps.
It sounds like a tough spot! First off, what exactly happens when you try to boot? Any specific error messages, or does it just go black? Also, double-check if your boot drive is correctly selected and verify your BIOS settings. Sometimes after clearing the CMOS, the Secure Boot, CSM, and Legacy/UEFI settings might need adjustments. What are the full specs of your setup?
