Help! My PC Won’t Boot After Upgrading to a New GPU

I recently upgraded my PC by replacing my old GTX 1080 with a Radeon RX 9070XT. To accommodate the new card, I also upgraded my power supply from 550W to 850W. However, now my computer won't boot to the home screen and shows a message saying that my PC needs repairs. Initially, I couldn't find any of my drives listed in the BIOS. I have an SSD with Windows installed, an HDD, and two M.2 drives, making a total of four drives. I've checked all connections to ensure they're secure, both to the power supply and the drives themselves. After some troubleshooting, I can now see my drives, but I can only boot from the M.2, which isn't ideal. Any advice on how to resolve this?

Make sure you've plugged the modular cables into the correct sockets on the power supply. Sometimes they can get mixed up, especially if you have multiple connections. It's crucial that everything is in the right place to ensure your drives are recognized properly. Good luck!

The SATA connections are in the correct 6-pin slots on the PSU, so I think they’re fine. I’ll double-check the modular cables though, just in case!
