I've been having a rough time with my PC not booting up. After attempting to set up my DAC/AMP and some new headphones, I turned the PC off. When I tried to power it back on, the red CPU LED was lit up and nothing happened. I had to flip the switch on my PSU to turn it off completely because the power button didn't respond. I waited and then managed to get it to boot normally. I thought the issue was related to the BIOS, so I attempted to update it via USB using Q-Flash. The update reached 50% before freezing, and after an hour with no progress, I powered it down again. I got a new BIOS version on a USB stick, pressed the Q-Flash+ button on my motherboard, and saw it flash for a while, but still no success. I reassembled the computer, reseated all components, cleared the CMOS, and tried different configurations, but the red CPU LED is still on, even though the fans and RGB lights turn on. Has anyone dealt with a similar issue and found a fix? I really appreciate any help! Here are my specs: CPU: 5800x3d, MOBO: Gigabyte Aorus Ultra, GPU: 4070TI, PSU: Corsair RM850.

I had a similar issue with the same motherboard. Sometimes it would take a while to boot up—like 5 minutes or so. Did you manage to get the BIOS updated in the end, or is it still running the old version? I noticed my problem eased after I upgraded from F7 to a 30+ version. That fixed it for me!

I've tried waiting for it to boot too, but it didn't work for me. I'm not sure if my BIOS update went through because I can't see anything on my monitors.
