Help! My PC Won’t Display After Moving Components

I recently moved my working prebuilt system into a new case, and after reapplying thermal paste to my old i7 7700k CPU, now I can't get any display on my monitor. The computer powers on, and both the GPU and motherboard lights are on. But I'm getting a 'No display/source' error. I asked for help from AI, and it suggested the issue might be with the RAM or CPU. I reseated the RAM to no avail, even tried just using one stick. I really don't want to buy a new CPU if it's not the problem. Is there a way to diagnose what might be failing?

It's possible that you might have tightened the CPU cooler too much when you reinstalled it. Try loosening it a bit and see if that changes anything. Sometimes, that little adjustment can make a difference!

Could it really be that simple? I remember struggling with one of the screws, it wouldn't tighten like the others.
