Help! My PC Won’t Display After Upgrading the PSU and GPU

I'm a beginner at building PCs and I've been trying to upgrade one I received a while back. Initially, it had a generic 500W power supply that I replaced with a 750W PSU. I also installed an RX 6600 graphics card. I followed the instructions step-by-step and even watched some video tutorials for guidance. However, when I power on the PC, there's nothing on the screen. I double-checked by removing the GPU to see if it was the PSU causing the problem, but the PSU fan, CPU fan, and power light are all functioning properly. Unfortunately, the screen remains black, and it seems like my keyboard and mouse aren't being detected either. I've tried disconnecting everything, ensuring all cables are connected correctly, reseating the RAM, and I believe I also cleared the CMOS, but nothing has worked. What should I try next? My specs are: CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3400g, Motherboard - Asus Prime B450M-A, PSU - XPG Core Reactor 750W, GPU - Asus ASRock RX 6600.

Make sure you're connecting your monitor to the right port. You should typically connect it to the GPU, not the motherboard. If you've removed the GPU and are using the onboard graphics, then the cable should go into the motherboard's video output.

I initially did plug it into the GPU, but then switched it to the motherboard after removing the GPU. Should I try putting the GPU back in?
