I'm having a really frustrating issue with my PC where it can't seem to find a DHCP server. I've tried a bunch of things, like running commands in the command prompt to refresh my IP, checking for system updates, and even restarting my router. I also replaced the Ethernet cable just in case, and I ran some tests on the device to see if everything was working, which it is. I'm not sure when this started happening, maybe it was since I bought the PC last year, or it could be something that developed later. Initially, I connected to the internet using WiFi, and now that I'm relying on it more, I've noticed the connection has gotten really bad—YouTube videos barely load. By the way, I'm using Windows 11. Does anyone have any suggestions to solve this problem?

If you really want to troubleshoot deeply, you could consider running Wireshark while you attempt an 'ipconfig /renew'. This will help you see if any DHCP requests are being sent and what responses (if any) are coming back.
Before diving too deep, could you clarify how your internet connection is behaving? Is your PC unable to connect to the internet at all, or is it just not receiving a valid IP address? That'll guide us in figuring out the next steps.
Since you're still able to use WiFi even if it's slow, that means your router might still be providing IPs through DHCP. To check if your PC is getting an IP, try pressing WIN + R, typing 'cmd.exe', and then running 'ipconfig'. Look for your Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi section and see if it shows an IPv4 address like 192.168.#.# or 10.10.#.#. That'll help identify if the DHCP is working at all on that network.
You could also try a hard reset on your router instead of just a restart. Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in. This can often fix connection issues, especially if the DHCP server isn't assigning addresses properly.
Make sure to disconnect from WiFi and try connecting directly with the Ethernet cable. Sometimes mixing connections can cause issues, so switching to Ethernet might help clear any conflicts.
