I've been struggling with my PC not turning on, and I'm running out of ideas. I initially thought it was the power supply unit (PSU) causing the issue, so I replaced it, but it only worked for a short time before the problem returned. I'm getting really frustrated because I've bought a total of 11 PSUs trying to fix this. I've made sure all the cables are connected properly, and I selected a PSU that's 50-100 watts above what I calculated I needed. I'm at my wit's end—does anyone have suggestions for what might be causing this?

You might want to check for short circuits, as that's a common problem. Symptoms often include PSU failures or booting issues. Try taking the motherboard out of the case and testing it on a cardboard surface to rule out any case-related shorts. Make sure there are no misplaced standoffs beneath the motherboard and check the USB headers and fan connections for any bent pins.
First, can you share your PC specs? The components can really help narrow down the issue. Knowing what motherboard, CPU, and GPU you're using could offer more clues.
Looks like a case of user error, huh? Just keep in mind, troubleshooting can take some time.
Right? I feel like I'm chasing my tail here!
Honestly, at this point, maybe just keep buying PSUs? At some point, one of them has to work, right? Just kidding, but seriously, it sounds like there’s something else going on here.
Did you ever get a blue screen or any error codes, or did it just suddenly die on you? My gut instinct is that the motherboard or possibly the RAM could be the root of the problem.
I've never had a blue screen—sometimes it just works one day and then doesn’t the next, unless I get a new power supply.
I've got a B520 A-Pro motherboard, an AMD 5500 CPU, a 1660 Super (since my 2060 was a bust), and I'm using a 700-watt power supply.
