I've been having a tough time getting my PC to start up again. After connecting all the cables correctly, it still doesn't turn on. Here's what I've tried so far: I used a paperclip in the PSU slots 4 and 5, and that got the CPU fan, case fans, GPU fans, and PSU fans to spin, so there's some power. I also tried using a paperclip and screwdriver to the power switch port, but that didn't do anything either, even after plugging in the front panel cable. I also removed the CMOS battery for 30 seconds and put it back in, but no luck there either. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I agree with the motherboard issue. You mentioned the PSU was noisy before – that might have caused damage to the motherboard. If it suddenly stopped working after the PSU replacement, it’s definitely worth considering. Good luck!
It sounds like your motherboard might be toast. I know it was working fine before, but replacing the PSU could have exposed an underlying issue. If everything else powers on but the system won’t boot, that's often the culprit. You might want to double-check all the connections and try booting with minimal hardware to see if that helps.
