Help! My PowerPoint Didn’t Save After Update—Can I Recover It?

I was working on a PowerPoint presentation that had autosave enabled. I stepped away from my computer, and when I returned, it had installed some updates. Upon reopening my presentation, I found it completely blank even though I had been working on it for a month. I'm really stressed because I need it for tomorrow, and I can't recreate it all from scratch. This happened once before too, and I ended up starting over. Is there anywhere I can check for recovery? I really need to find it. I linked the autosave with OneDrive, but even opening it from there shows a blank file. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Also, if this isn't the right place to ask, please let me know.

To check for a previous version of your PowerPoint file, go to OneDrive, right-click on the file, and look for a "Version history" option. You might be able to recover a saved version from before it went blank.

You might want to try this: open PowerPoint, go to File > Home Tab, then click on "More Presentations" at the bottom right and select "Recover Unsaved Presentations." It's a bit of a long shot, but it could work. Just a side note: I wouldn’t just rely on autosave in the future. Save manually in two places every time you step away from your desk to ensure you have backups.

I tried that but nothing was there. I'm in a bit of a panic right now!
