I've got an ASUS ROG Strix Z270F motherboard and some Corsair 3600MHz DDR4 RAM, but I discovered recently that my RAM isn't functioning in dual channel mode. I had to put the RAM in slots 1 and 2 to get it to work, but this has been a problem for about a year now. Back when I built my PC, I didn't know much, and now I'm feeling stressed about it because RAM prices have skyrocketed. I've tried switching the RAM sticks in every possible combination, but they only work in dual channel if one stick is in slot B1 and the other isn't installed, or if one is in A1 and the other in A2. My PC is running super slow because of this issue. What should I do?

Make sure to double-check your motherboard manual to see which slots need to be used for dual channel configuration. Sometimes it's not obvious at first!
Have you checked if XMP is turned off? Sometimes enabling it can help with compatibility and getting the RAM to cooperate in dual channel mode.
Tried that already, but no luck.
How are you determining that dual channel isn't working? Sometimes it's subjective based on performance, so maybe there's a way to verify it through the system settings or BIOS.

I've already tried every combination, but nothing has worked.
