I just picked up a refurbished Razor Blade laptop from eBay and I'm stuck trying to get it set up. It seems the network drivers are missing, so I can't connect to the Internet. Is it normal for refurbished laptops to arrive completely wiped like this?

Yeah, it’s pretty common for refurbished laptops to be shipped wiped clean. The best way to get back online is to use another computer to download the network drivers from the manufacturer’s website. Just transfer them onto a USB drive and install them on your laptop. You should be good to go in no time! If the seller said it was "ready to use," you can reach out to them for support or maybe even a partial refund.

You could try tethering your phone to your laptop; that might work. Once connected, run Windows Update, and it should help find the right drivers for your network connection. Windows can sometimes miss a few drivers during installation, so a little extra help is often needed.

It’s not unusual at all. Often when someone is done with a laptop, they wipe everything off it. Just grab a thumb drive, download the necessary drivers, and you can install them that way. It sounds like a hassle, but it’s a pretty standard procedure.
