I just reinstalled the system files on my Galaxy Tab S2 (model: SM-T819) using Odin, and everything seemed to go fine. But when I turned it on, I was greeted with a message saying "power reset or unknown upload mode". Now it won't respond to a forced restart. What can I do to fix this?

Sounds like you're dealing with a tricky situation! Since you can't factory reset it and it might be rooted, your best bet is to find a compatible recovery image. You'll need to use ADB to install it. Just start by powering it on again and see if it’s still stuck or if you can get it to respond. Let me know what happens!
Just a heads up, if it’s consistently giving you that message, it might mean there's a deeper issue from the root access. It's also worth checking if the previous owner did anything before you got it. Sometimes, rooting and messing with system files can lead to this. You might want to try looking for a dedicated recovery version for your tablet model.
