I've been dealing with some annoying lines that have appeared at the bottom of my screen for a while now. At first, they were easy to ignore, but they've grown larger over the months and even cover some UI elements in games, which is really frustrating! I'm not very tech-savvy; the only way I know how to update drivers is through NVIDIA, and BIOS settings are pretty much a mystery to me. I recently replaced my display port cable, but I'm still stuck. Has anyone had similar issues and knows how to resolve this?

Another thing to check is whether you have those lines in the BIOS or safe mode. If you do, it indicates a hardware issue. If you only see issues in Windows, it could just be a driver problem.
I think you're on the right track! If the lines show up even when you're outside of Windows, like during boot-up, it's possible there's an issue with either the display panel or the cable connecting it. You might need to get it inspected or replaced if that's the case.
You can upload a photo of the issue to Imgur and share the link in a comment so we can see what's going on! It might help us diagnose the problem better.
