I've been having trouble with my second monitor ever since I updated my NVIDIA graphics card driver on the 10th. It just won't get detected. I've tried a bunch of stuff like hard shutting down my PC (which is a hassle because I have to jump start it from the motherboard), and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the NVIDIA driver since rolling back wasn't an option. I've done the reinstall three times now, and during one of the tries, I actually lost both monitors! When I booted into safe mode, the second monitor started working, but now my primary monitor isn't being detected. I really need some help with this because I use these monitors for both work and leisure.

When you reinstalled the NVIDIA driver, did you select the clean install option? That can sometimes help clear out any issues left from the previous installation. It's a good idea to do that especially after a problematic update.

Yes, I'm pretty sure I chose the clean install option, but when neither monitor worked properly, I think it might not have been a clean install after all. Now my secondary monitor is technically working, but the resolution is all messed up.
