I recently updated my graphics driver, and ever since then, my second monitor has stopped working. When I made the switch, my display changed to my laptop screen, but I didn't disconnect any wires. Everything stayed connected as before, yet my PC doesn't seem to recognize the second monitor at all, not even in the device manager. I'm looking for advice on how to fix this issue.

If the monitor is still not showing up even after checking the connections, it might not be a bad idea to roll back the graphics driver to a previous version. Sometimes updates can cause compatibility issues.
Have you tried restarting your PC? Sometimes a simple reboot can resolve recognition issues after a driver update.
It sounds like the monitor is detecting a connection, which is a good sign. Have you tried unplugging and replugging the cables? It might help to make sure everything is secure. If nothing changes, check your display settings to see if it’s set to mirror or extend.
