I'm having a really frustrating issue with my Acer V15. Whenever I click on the settings icon or try to open Windows by pressing the Windows key, the cursor just shows that it's loading for a moment, and then nothing happens. This is a huge problem for me since I have to reconnect to Wi-Fi every time I open my laptop, and without access to the settings, I can't manage my network connections. I've tried a bunch of different solutions, like running the troubleshooter, using PowerShell and Command Prompt with various commands, including Appxpackage, SFC scan, and DISM commands. I even tried running the msdt.exe for Windows update diagnostics and attempted to reset my laptop, which I now regret because I'm stuck on the "OOBESETTINGS" screen and still can't access the settings. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

I'm having the same problem with my Acer. It's frustrating! I thought about trying to reinstall Windows, but I'm nervous about losing files. Have you found any other solutions?
Have you tried booting your laptop in safe mode? Sometimes that can help identify if it's a software issue that's preventing settings from opening. Just hold down the Shift key while you restart to get into the recovery options. It might give you a better chance to access the settings temporarily.

I haven’t found anything that works yet. I pretty much wiped everything out before and it's only getting worse. Thinking about just getting help from a pro at this point.
