I accidentally shut down my computer while a download was in progress, and now my M.2 SSD isn't being recognized in the BIOS. I even switched the slot, but it still won't show up. This is a huge issue since the operating system was installed on that drive, and now I can only access the BIOS menu. Here are my specs: Aorus Gigabyte B550 Elite AX motherboard, Radeon 6750 XT graphics card, Intel 665p Series M.2 2280 1TB PCIe 3.0 SSD (which is not detected in BIOS), G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB (2 x 16GB), and a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. My motherboard currently has BIOS version F16.

It sounds like you've got a couple of issues going on here. First, it seems your OS might have been corrupted since it won't boot up after the shutdown. You'll probably need to use installation media to reinstall your OS if that's the case. Also, make sure that your front panel power button is properly connected since you mentioned shutting down via the power button during a download—just in case it’s wired incorrectly to the reset switch! If you need to save any important data, boot from a live OS to access your files before reinstalling everything.
What exactly went missing? Are you unable to enter the BIOS now, or is it just that your drive isn't detected in the BIOS? Make sure to check the hardware components list in the BIOS menu, not just the boot menu. Also, has Windows completely disappeared?
I really have no idea what's going on here! I can definitely confirm that Windows is gone, though. I'm a bit of a novice, but luckily I have some friends who are helping me figure it out.
