So, I recently had a crash while gaming, and after restarting, I found some important system files were missing. I tried using recovery mode to reset my PC, but that didn't work out. I ended up creating a fresh installation USB, but when I try to install, it says there's no disk available. I've already checked both M.2 slots and confirmed the SSD is installed correctly. It's only a year old, so I doubt it's dead. Any ideas on what could be causing this issue?

Have you thought about updating your BIOS using a USB? Sometimes that can help with detection issues.
Make sure to perform a full power cycle. Unplug the power cord completely, hold down the power button for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and see if that helps.
Try unplugging the USB install drive, rebooting, and then entering the BIOS (usually by tapping Delete or F2 during startup). In BIOS, you can set the boot priority to your SSD. Don't forget to save changes before exiting!
Before you do anything drastic, try resetting the CMOS. You can do this by pulling the battery out and putting it back in, or if your motherboard has a reset button, hit that!
It could be dead. If you need to recover files, try booting from a tool like SystemRescue. But I'd recommend keeping the drive disconnected until you can figure that out. You might still be under warranty, so check with the place you bought it!
Honestly, if your SSD isn't detected at all, it might be toast. That's what warranties are for, so if you have one, consider filing an RMA with the manufacturer.
The problem is that it’s not even showing up in BIOS to select!
