I'm having trouble with my SSD. When I power on my PC, it turns on, but it isn't recognized in the BIOS, which prevents me from booting into Windows. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do to fix this?

What type of SSD are you using? If it's a 2.5" SATA SSD, ensure that you have both a SATA data cable connecting it to the motherboard and a power cable from the PSU. For an M.2 SSD, double-check that your motherboard supports its interface. If it's not connecting, it might be something in the setup.

It could be that your SSD is malfunctioning if it’s not showing up in BIOS. A quick fix you might try is to physically remove the SSD and then reinstall it. Sometimes a simple reconnect can solve the issue!

This sounds like it could be an SSD failure, and it might be in read-only mode. Fortunately, you can get a replacement SSD and clone the data from the old one if it's still accessible. You might want to run some repair commands first if you're on Windows, like `DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth` and `sfc /scannow`.
