I recently bought a refurbished Thinkpad P1 Gen 4 that runs on Windows 11, equipped with a T12000 GPU, 64GB DDR4 RAM, and an i7 11850H CPU. Lately, I've been experiencing random BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) crashes at unpredictable times, each time displaying different error messages. The system restarts quickly, and sometimes it can run fine for several days before the issue reoccurs. Today, it crashed twice within 20 minutes, the last one showing a 'SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION' error. Since the problem is becoming more frequent, I've started investigating it further instead of just ignoring it.
So far, I've done the following:
- Ran an SFC scan - no issues found
- Used Windows Memory Diagnostics - no issues found
- Completed a Lenovo Vantage system test - no issues found
- Updated NVIDIA GPU drivers, Windows, and the Lenovo BIOS are all up to date.
I'm looking for any insights to help solve these random BSODs. I've also included a link to my minidump files for anyone who can help analyze the situation!

It sounds like you're dealing with a memory-related issue based on the crash logs. While "memory" can refer to RAM, it can also mean storage when the OS is managing low-priority data. Run some tests with your RAM sticks by using one at a time to see if that changes anything. If crashes occur with both sticks, then the CPU could be at fault. Just a heads up – some memory testers can miss faulty DDR4 RAM, so keep an eye out!

I ran a comprehensive UEFI diagnostic test overnight, and thankfully, everything passed. But I’ll definitely check the RAM sticks as you suggested. Thanks for your help!
