Help! My WiFi Driver Disappeared After Clean Installing Windows 11

I recently did a clean install of Windows 11 Pro on my HP 255 g10 Notebook PC because my storage was constantly filling up. I followed various guides and upgraded from version 21H2 to 24H2, but when I got to the setup, I couldn't find an Internet option, just Bluetooth. I managed to continue without connecting. Now, everything seems fine except for one major issue: my WiFi driver is completely missing! I checked and the WiFi hardware seems to be working. I think the driver was from HP or AMD, but I can't find any compatible drivers for this new version (24H2). I'm considering buying a USB WiFi adapter so I can get online again and log in to Microsoft. Any advice on how to fix the WiFi driver issue?

Try visiting the manufacturer's website directly to look for Windows 11 drivers. They usually have the latest updates available there.

Good idea! But with my current situation, I think I'll have to wait for the USB wifi adapter to get back online.

You might want to check HP's support page for your exact model. They could have updated drivers for Windows 11 that you need.

Thanks! I’ll check that, but it looks like I might have to go for the USB wifi adapter since I couldn’t find the drivers.
