I've been struggling with issues related to downloading or updating files on my PC for the past year or two. The downloads start off fine but then suddenly fail after a few seconds, displaying a connection error. Oddly enough, streaming videos or gaming usually doesn't give me any major problems—just a little lag once in a while. The only way I can manage downloads is by repeatedly clicking the restart button until the file finally completes, which is frustrating especially when dealing with larger files like 3GB at a download speed of 3mbps. I'm really unsure of what's causing this issue and would appreciate any advice or insights you might have. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Are you currently using WiFi or are you plugged in via ethernet? It can make a big difference in download stability. Sometimes, a wired connection can help eliminate these issues.
Make sure to remove any VPNs or third-party antivirus software you’re using. These can often mess with your downloads. Even something like Malwarebytes, if it's running, might cause interruptions.
I’m only using the free version of Malwarebytes. Could that actually interfere with my downloads?
