Help! My Windows 10 Laptop Can’t Find Wi-Fi Networks

I just got my laptop back after getting the hinge repaired, and now it keeps saying 'no network found.' It connects fine to my phone's hotspot, but not to my home Wi-Fi. I also went to a friend's place and had the same issue—couldn't connect to her Wi-Fi either. I've tried everything I could find online: updating and reinstalling drivers, resetting the network, enabling and disabling Wi-Fi, using command prompts, rolling back network drivers, and changing properties. Nothing seems to work, and I'm really worried since I have exams coming up soon. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you might have a hardware issue since the laptop connects to your phone but not to other Wi-Fi networks. It's possible they forgot to reconnect the Wi-Fi antennas during the repair. Try bringing your laptop close to the router to see if it detects the Wi-Fi signal there. If it does, then the antenna might need to be checked.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely give that a shot and let you know what happens.
