Help! My Windows 11 Device Won’t Update to 24H2

I've got a Windows 11 device that's stuck on 22H2 and won't update to the 24H2 feature. I've tried some registry edits to bypass the compatibility checks since it's an i7-7700 processor, and I've also messed with the TargetReleaseVersion setting. Unfortunately, nothing seems to force the update. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have suggestions for a fix? Or am I facing the inevitable decision to re-image it with 24H2?

If your device with Windows 11 has an incompatible CPU, you can still receive monthly patches, but big feature updates won't show up. You might need to upgrade manually. Have you tried downloading the 24H2 ISO, mounting it, and running Setup? That might work even with your registry edits.

Hey, just a heads up—if you haven't tried the manual upgrade through the ISO yet, definitely give it a shot! It should keep your apps and user profiles intact while upgrading.

The i7-7700 CPU isn't fully supported by Windows 11, which means updates won't work as you expect. Even if you've modified the registry to allow upgrades, you could run into the same issues again if you try to force the update. Reimaging might just return you to the same problem down the line.
